Monte Tuttavista is a rugged limestone massif with a wealth of caves, standing imposing and isolated in the Cedrino River valley. Its cavities have yielded several Pleistocene fossil fauna remains. The vegetation consists of typical Mediterranean scrub, including holm oak, juniper, euphorbia, mastic, myrtle, and wild olive, along with numerous precious flower species like endemic orchids. Along the winding road, you will encounter sa Petra Istampata, a natural monument with a hole over 20 meters, created by the wind, and the large bronze statue of Christ. Once you reach the summit, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panorama, ranging from Supramonte to Montalbo, and to the extraordinary colors of the Gulf of Orosei.
