Since 1985, the Historical Memory Cooperative has been offering tourism and new technology-focused activities, drawing on its extensive experience gained in various libraries throughout Italy and over 70 municipalities in Sardinia.
Prominent among its activities are projects related to local development, services related to archival, library, or archaeological heritage, restoration of library assets, establishment of archives and libraries, promotion of Sardinian culture, cultural asset administration, promotion of natural resources and sustainability, and management of museum spaces.
Certified to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standards, Memoria Storica manages the Municipal Art Gallery, the Mariano IV and Portixedda Judicial Towers, and the Antiquarium Arborense Archaeological Museum in Oristano; the Mineralogical, Ornithological, and Sa Fogaia Park Museum in Siddi; the museum system connected to the Su Stampu ‘E Su Turrunu Natural Monument, Ecomuseum in Seulo; the Mediterranean Weaving Museum – City of Castelsardo; and the Nora Archaeological Park.
