Walk along the coast for two days to get to Castelsardo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy perched on the Anglona promontory. Walk through the alleys, breathe in the air of tradition and visit the museum of the Mediterranean Weaving.

What to expect:

This journey requires adequate physical preparation as you will cover several kilometers on foot. It is advisable to bring comfortable clothes, comfortable trekking shoes, backpack covers for the rain, k-way, rainproof trousers, sunscreen, water bottle as essential elements.

Giorno 1

Porto Torres

Welcome to Porto Torres, a famous town on the northern coast with a long Roman tradition behind it. You will visit the city center with its ruins and learn all about San Gavino, patron saint of Porto Torres, a Roman soldier who lived 1700 years ago. You will also have the opportunity to relax on the beach before starting the walking adventure.

Giorno 2

Porto Torres – Sorso

On the second day, start by walking a section of the Way of the 100 towers that runs along the entire perimeter of the island. The route up to Marina di Sorso is also in common with the Santu Jacu Way which you will see marked with the yellow symbol of the shell. The route is almost entirely flat and runs along the coast giving you beautiful views of the northern beaches.

Sorso – Castelsardo

On the third day, continue your journey towards Castelsardo, always skirting the coast and enjoying the views of this wonderful region. The route is almost entirely flat up to Castelsardo.

Giorno 4

Castelsardo

On the last day, enjoy this splendid historic village and visit the MIM, the Museum of Mediterranean Weaving to find out more about this traditional practice.
