Arbatax

Start this exciting journey from the beautiful east coast of Sardinia. Enjoy three days of relaxation and visit the beaches that have made this part of the island throughout the world on a boat trip. Cala Mariolu, Cala Luna, Cala Goloritzè and many other beaches are waiting to surprise you. For trekking and nature lovers, the area also lends itself to a unique day trip in the Supramonte from which to admire breathtaking landscapes.

Nuoro

Leave the east coast behind you to enter the heart of Sardinia and discover all its secrets and traditions. Dedicate the fourth day to visiting Nuoro, where you can choose one of the many unique museums of this city, the ISRE Ethnographic Museum, the MAN art museum or the one dedicated to Grazia Deledda. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to visit the workshop of a ceramist craftsman who creates one-of-a-kind jewelry works.

On the fifth day, leave Nuoro for a day trip to Barbagia to discover this unique area. Barbagia is part of one of the so-called “Blue Zones”, i.e. the areas with the highest concentration of centenarians in the world. Spend a day in Tiana, a small town of less than 1000 inhabitants, entered in the Guinness Book of Records for being the birthplace of several centenarians including the oldest man in the world (113 years in 2003). An expert guide will accompany you to an excursion in the dense woods of holm oaks, crossed by springs and waterfalls, along the paths of the centenarians to discover the secrets of longevity. In Tiana you will also have the opportunity to visit the hydraulic energy system (ancient water mills and fulling mills), a unique experience in its kind.

Oristano

End the week discovering the west coast of Sardinia. In Oristano, the master craftsmen of the CMA cooperative will take you on a journey to discover the artisan tradition. Inside the shop, which is part of the I.S.O.L.A regional structure (institute of Sardinian Organization of Artisan Work) it is possible to admire some creations of Sardinian master craftsmen, consisting of ceramic, wood, leather, glass and fabric artefacts.

Move to San Vero Milis during the day to discover the art of weaving where an expert craftsman will guide you in his work of making rush baskets and baskets, telling you about the tradition and the various destinations of the artifacts. Take part in a workshop and put your artistic skills into practice!
