Welcome to Sardinia, an island with a unique charm, where wild nature and history come together to create an unforgettable experience. We want to take you on a discovery of Sulcis-Iglesiente, a historic region with a long mining tradition and breathtaking landscapes. On the first day, after a short transfer from Cagliari, you will begin the adventure in Portoscuso and then arrive in Carloforte, a small town on the island of San Pietro where you can walk along the Santa Barbara Mining Trail or the Santu Jacu Way. On the second day you can treat yourself to a day of relax or continue exploring the island. On the third day, you will reach Calasetta and then Sant’Antioco. On the fourth day you will be able to discover the Bisso museum and enjoy the island of Sant’Antioco on foot. On the last day, you will resume the Santa Barbara Mining Trail to get to Carbonia and choose whether to visit the Coal Museum before returning to Cagliari. A unique experience that will lead you to discover the natural and historical beauties of Sardinia.
What to expect:
This journey requires adequate physical preparation as you will cover several kilometers on foot. It is advisable to bring comfortable clothes, comfortable trekking shoes, backpack covers for the rain, k-way, rainproof trousers, sunscreen, water bottle as essential elements.
