Walk through history

Begin this history-themed journey at the Tharros archaeological site, which encompasses over two thousand years of history, from Nuragic origins to the Roman era, with remains of temples, baths, necropolises, and roads. In the afternoon, make your way to the Giovanni Marongiu Civic Museum in Cabras. The museum houses artifacts that narrate the history of Sardinia from Prehistory to the Roman era. Notably, within the museum are the Giants of Mont’e Parma, unique sculptures dating back to the Nuragic period.

On the second day, move towards Porto Torres visiting unique archaeological sites. The first stop along the way is the nuraghe Losa di Abbasanta which you can decide to visit independently or through a guided tour of about an hour. The second stop not to be missed is the 15th century nuraghe Santu Antine di Torralba. By contacting us you can participate in a guided tour. You will arrive in Porto Torres in the evening to enjoy the village and relax. 

On the last day, experience Porto Torres through a unique visit dedicated to the rediscovery of the important places of San Gavino, the Roman soldier symbol of the city that lived 1700 years ago. The journey begins at the small church of Balai, place of martyrdom. We will then continue with a guided tour of the Turris Libisonis area and the Antiquarium Turritano museum. The tour will end with an external visit to the basilica of San Gavino.
